Privacy Policy

This service exists to pass your property requirement to a broker. That means sharing your details with somebody, which is the whole point — so this page is mostly about exactly whom, exactly when, and how to stop it.

What we hold

If you called us	Your phone number, your name if you gave it, what you are looking for or have to offer, and a recording and transcript of the call.
If you are a broker	Your name, phone number, firm, the areas and price ranges you work in, and your account activity.
Payments	What was paid and when. We never see or store card or UPI details — those go directly to our payment provider.

When your details are shared, and with whom

Only after you agree on the call, and we record that you did — with the time and the call it was given on. We do not treat the fact that you rang us as agreement.

Your requirement — the area, size, budget and timing — is shown to a broker so he can decide whether he has anything. Your name and number are not. Those are given to one broker only, at the moment you pay to be introduced to him, and to nobody else.

If you are a broker, your name and number reach one person at that same moment, and not before.

Who else sees it

• Our payment provider, to take a payment.
• WhatsApp (Meta), to deliver messages to you.
• Our telephony and cloud providers, to carry the call and store the recordings.
• Nobody else. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them for advertising.

Where it is kept

On servers in India. Recordings and videos are encrypted at rest. This service keeps its records in a separate database from our other products, and nothing here is combined with them.

How long

Requirements and call recordings for two years, so we can answer a question about what was agreed. Payment records for eight years, as tax law requires. Ask us to delete sooner and we will, except for the payment records we are obliged to keep.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw your agreement to share it at any time.

Write to hello@nilayah.in or reply to any message we have sent you. We answer within seven working days. Withdrawing agreement stops any further sharing immediately; it cannot un-share what a broker already has.

Children

This service is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their details.

Changes

If this page changes materially we will say so here and update the date at the top.
